Your messages and calls are encrypted in transit with TLS/HTTPS and WebRTC’s DTLS-SRTP. Uns Chat has no ads, no ad tracking and no advertising SDKs. Permissions are requested only when needed, and you can delete your account at any time.

How it works

Four layers of protection.

Each layer is designed around a simple principle: least access, most control.

Encrypted transport

All messaging traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS over HTTPS between your device and the server.

Encrypted calls

Voice and video calls run over WebRTC, with the media channel protected by DTLS-SRTP.

Secure accounts

Username and password sign-in with display name and avatar, plus optional email and phone verification.

You’re in control

Granular permissions for camera, microphone, photos and contacts — and account deletion whenever you want.

Encryption is applied to data as it travels between your device and Uns Chat servers.

Sign up simply, secure your account, and leave whenever you like — deleting everything on the way out.

Sign-in Username & password Simple account creation with a display name and optional avatar.
Verification Email & phone Verify your email address or phone number to strengthen your account.
Permissions Camera · Mic · Photos · Contacts Each permission is requested only when needed, and revocable in iOS Settings.
Deletion Delete your account in-app Account deletion is built into the app, so you can remove your account at any time.
Discovery Optional contact sync Contacts are uploaded to help find your friends when you opt in — and you can opt out.
Blocking Block & report Stop unwanted contact and keep your space yours.
